Looking for Unique Christmas Decorations?

Tinsel and garland are pretty, yes – but they aren’t all that the holiday season has to offer. It’s not just about Christmas trees, holiday snow globes and stockings, either.

Try something new this year – something that nobody else will be doing yet. Celebrate the holiday season with a gorgeous set of Christmas hampers. What should you do with them? There are tons of different ways to decorate with Christmas hampers.

LAUNDRY

I hate to point out the obvious, but hey, why not? Use your Christmas hampers for dirty laundry. Give each household member their very own Christmas hamper. Make sure all of the bathrooms have Christmas hampers, too.

Alternately, you can place 2 hampers near the washer and dryer: one for darks, and one for things that are begging for a heavy splash of bleach. Washing dirty clothes just became a lot more festive – and fun. Now, if only you could find somebody to fold all your clean clothes...

AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE

There’s nothing like a brightly colored array of presents carefully placed beneath a perfectly decorated Christmas tree. Unless you have small children who eat, rip, and destroy everything. Or cats. Or dogs. Or kids who like to fight over who got the bigger gift.

Prevent potential issues by putting everybody’s presents in their very own Christmas hamper. After they open them, they can get a head start on all the laundry that’s been piling up over winter break.

TOY BOX

You’re so over stepping on toys. Really, really over it – especially since you finally removed the bandage from your left foot. Since when did Barbie’s feet get so sharp?

Keep toys neat and organized with the help of one or two Christmas hampers. You haven’t seen your child’s room look this clean in months.

BUILD A TREE

Who needs a real Christmas tree? It’s just going to die in a few weeks anyway.

Stack several mini hampers on top of each other, with each row getting smaller, until you have your own mini tree. Decorate with garland. Wrap a few strands of lights around each row. Feel free to stick a star on top, too.

ORGANIZE

You know that pile of DVDs you’ve had thrown in the corner forever? No offense, but it looks terrible. Really terrible, since we’re being honest with each other today.

Pick those movies up and throw them all into a Christmas hamper. Your pile of clutter just became a nice holiday decoration. Not too shabby, eh?

TRASH CAN

Obviously you don’t want to throw nasty banana peels and last night’s dinner in a Christmas hamper, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it for odor-free garbage.

Place several Christmas hampers around the house and put a new trash bag in each one. Use your Christmas hampers for laundry lint, old printer cartridges and pens, and anything else that doesn’t belong in your house.

RECYCLABLES

Who says your paper and aluminum cans have to go in an ugly blue bin or a beat-up old green trash can? Make Santa proud by keeping your recyclables in a festive Christmas hamper. Use several Christmas hampers if you recycle more stuff than the average eco-friendly person.

Keep the hampers in your garage for a fresh burst of Christmas cheer each time you pull into the driveway. Remember, wrapping paper is recyclable!
